Sounds like you need more interaction with "live" people....maybe getting out more, making a new friend, volunteering, would help. It sounds like you are making the t.v. people your family.
Try to join something new, got to a bookstore, sit in a coffee house,join a book discussion, an art group etc........Volunteering would help a lot. NAMI....the group that advocates for mentally ill etc always needs volunteers for the phone, office etc.
