I have had a similar thought before. When I was young and feared death it was often for that reason. I still fear death from time to time, but it was constant as a child and young adult. I'm not sure how to quite put it into words, but it's something like what you would say. For me it was "I can't imagine not being here". A bit different I guess, but the way you said it I could also definitely connect with also. Thanks for posting this.
