Have mentioned to my Doctor and she reckons its stress from a restless night but the pain makes me feel like I am 90 and I have 2 young kids to get ready for school so I have to function ,at weekends when I lie in a little longer I wake up still feeling the same way so its not lack of sleep :-(
I started having trouble "getting going" after I turned 45 I think. Anyway, I'm 51 now, and I'm esp. stiff in my knees, ankles, and feet in the a.m. I have to do a few gentle stretching exercises before I can even do my morning routine. I'm healthy, and I know I get enough sleep--though I don't sleep as soundly as I did when I was younger. I used to wear a splint on my calf for a previous foot problem, and I found out my feet feel better in the a.m. when I wear it. Might have start wearing it again, though it's not comfortable. I do feel better as the day goes on, with the stiffness going away. I also get it if I sit too long, something that didn't happen in my youth.
