I used to wear a splint on my calf for a previous foot problem, and I found out my feet feel better in the a.m. when I wear it. Might have start wearing it again, though it's not comfortable. I do feel better as the day goes on, with the stiffness going away. I also get it if I sit too long, something that didn't happen in my youth.
