I just want to say that I am shocked that this happened to you. It was a cold, uncaring, inflexible and, I believe, unprofessional way to treat you. I am sorry you had to spend so much money for the intake interview. This is just a crazy way to be treated and makes no sense in spite of the so-called 'rules'.
