Well, I've just started taking an anti-depressant for the first time (it's only been 1 week) and I've noticed some side-effects but it's hard to tell what's causing them. I'm hoping to find out if anyone else has experienced something similar and if anyone has any advice.
It's been one week since I've started:
Wellbutrin (150mg SR)
and Trazadone (25-50 mg at bedtime to help me sleep)
I normally drank 1-3 cups of coffee per day or took caffeine pills. The very first day I started on Wellbutrin, I had a small coffee and it made me way overstimulated and jittery and anxious. So I decided to cut out caffeine (been drinking decaf).
Now I'm getting mild to severe headaches everyday, which might be from the wellbutrin, the trazadone or the caffeine withdrawl (or any combination of these). I'm also getting a weird feeling in my head, like there's a lot of pressure, kind of like in an airplane. I'm finding it really hard to get out of bed in the morning (trazadone "hangover"?). I often experience this weird and kinda scary out-of-body feeling, like I'm just on auto-pilot. This only happens when I'm around people or talking to people. I hear myself talking but it feels like it's not really me.
Anybody else have similar experiences or any insight. I have a follow up appointment with my GP in a few weeks and I will definitely mention these things, but in the mean time any feedback would be appreciated.
