Good point, but the real question is, why are we as a society here in the 21st century, still loading our children with textbooks in the first place?
Would it not be a hell of a lot cheaper to for our school systems to cut a deal with Amazon and buy Kindles for all of kids. With bulk buying power they probably could be made available for as little as twenty dollars a pop. All of the text books K-12 could easily be loaded on the machines. It would save the taxpayers a fortune and free up more money for building construction and maintance, programs, hiring teachers etc...
