Evangelista,

med. compliance can be very tricky with singletons....so it makes sense that it can be even harder for those of us with more than one.

we'd not be here typing this moment if not for the assistance of psych. medications. it wasn't easy getting to this point. took MUCH trial and error. many times quitting (that was early on when we were young and didn't know any better) and throwing in the towel before we got to the place where we were willing, really willing to give the pharm. medications a true trial.

that meant not stopping just because of some annoying side effect. it meant weighing out what was more important to us...............living in the world partially functional? or lying on the davenport doing our best impression of a sloth and crying our life away? after many years total of lying down in tears we chose to go the meds route.

there are times when we're not fond of these meds but when we compare how we were over the past decade to how we are now there is no comparison.

our life/lives depend upon our ability to function. sadly, for whatever reasons, we have MDD and PTSD and DID and of those three there are meds specifically for one and meds that can help with the symptoms of the two others.

we found our lives better with the meds and finding a way to make the meds tolerable for all took much time, much creativity, and patience.

here's hoping you'll find what you need to make your lives better.

day by day, bit by bit, fingers crossed that something works sooner than later.
