Thanks for the responses everyone!

I stopped taking the trazodone and my headaches have definitely improved. I think the trazodone was giving me less quality sleep actually (less deep sleep). My problem is generally not falling asleep, it's staying asleep. I usually wake up in the night and can't get back to sleep and have lots of racing thoughts. Sometimes I take a sleeping pill when that happens if it's still early enough in the night, but when I do that I'll usually feel pretty tired the next morning/day.

Does anyone know of a sleeping aid that works well for light sleepers or people who wake up and can't fall back asleep? Although I assume that long-lasting sleep aids would increase morning grogginess. I guess I should work on my CBT techniques instead!

The caffeine withdrawal headaches are slowly improving too.
