No thank you note!! It wasn't a job interview, it was a date. If there are no bells then you would just be leading him on. That would not be good. You can either ignore him as he will difinetely get the message, or the next time he calls just tell him he is a nice person for a friend but you do not want to date him...or something like that. Its always terribly difficult, but the best thing is honesty.
