All. The. Time. My mom (who is homophobic) will say some of the most harshest things about homosexual people to me and she literally judges me, throws Bible scriptures about homosexuality at me, and will laugh and grin in my face when I am ticked off and she will ask from time to time if I'm okay when I am like really silent and it's so annoying because she will ask the same thing several times and it's really irritating. I can't tell her I'm mad because then she'll start a rediculously pointless argument that makes me feel worse. I hope this is what you meant by your post's description but I do feel the same way most of the time.
