I heard from my old high school sweetheart...the one whose wife will be away for a month, during which time he asked to visit here. I just said NO. No reasons really, and he was kind and understanding re my response. I just know it would leave me emotionally devastated for a substantial period of time, and I don't want that anymore in my life. Plus! it is wrong. I wouldn't want to be married to a man who visited old girlfriends while I was away (though she said she knew of his plans!).
