Definitely get a new doctor! It's one thing for a hospital to treat you like ****, since they treat everything like it's nothing unless you're covered in blood. But your DOCTOR? The one you pay specifically to see? The one who's supposed to be in charge of your wellbeing? There is no reason for that to be acceptable. Someone with mental health issues doesn't just cease to have physical issues; that's just nonsense!

I remember I was really upset a few months back because I had all of the symptoms of aseptic meningitis... That day was really scary for me because I had no idea what was going on. Was I going to be okay? What was causing all of this? But because I had my bipolar on my chart & saw the old burn-marks on my arm, he told me it was stress-related!! Stress from moving here over a year & a half ago! I was so angry, so pissed off, so frustrated that he demeaned me like that.

You don't deserve that! None of us deserve that. So with your next doctor, I hate to say it, but keep your condition to yourself... Until s/he proves themselves to be a truly caring & understanding person concerned about YOU! Not trying to find a way around giving you all the care you truly need!

On another note, I'd try implementing some dietary changes to rule those out as possible factors in why you feel so horrible! Take two weeks on a very low fat diet, two weeks without milk or dairy, & two weeks without wheat products. See how those make you feel mentally & physically.
