I had my appointment today. It went well!! First he explained to me why he could not ever call in meds (which I should know better anyways). Its not only you, he said, its everyone, They are cracking down on any opiates being prescribed- its for my safety and for his. He said a Dr. recently lost his liscence. When we were going over my meds he said this is why too. They have to see the patient and know whats going on with them.. med changes etc. I promised I will never do that ever again.

We talked about the "mis-communication" with staff and he told me she said that I said "that's ********". Of course I never said that and told him I swear on my children's lives I didn't say that." We went over everything in his message and he said I believe you.

He told me he didn't want to lose me as a patient. He spent a good 1/2 hour with me and said he'd like me to consult with my surgeon. He'll make the appointment. Gave me the script I needed and one for Lyrica which of course needs a "prior authorization" from the insurance co.

I feel sooooo much better now, after talking to him!!! What a sigh of relief.

And want to thank you guys again. Your support means so much more than you know!!!
