Yes, the range of
possible side effects of psychoactive drugs are usually frightening. Few people experience all of those effects, and some folks experience none.
Your Thursday experience was serious and could have been a side effect of one of the drugs or of that specific combination. In the absence of immediate counsel from your caretakers, suddenly stopping your recently started meds -- usually inadvisable -- was a reasonable safety precaution. I'm particularly glad you decided not to attempt to drive. The driving issue is something to discuss with both your doctor and therapist.
I would hope your caretakers do not expect you to endanger yourself or others in an attempt to get better.
