It took a few months of medication to bring my overactive imagination back down to Earth. I spent about six months of my psychosis unmedicated. At the time I believed almost everything the voices said. I was so delusional that I threw out my computer and most of my possessions because voices said they were evidence. I then moved 150 miles from what had been my home for seventeen years. I thought my neighbors were CIA agents. I really regret it now that I'm doing better.
