Hmm.. hopes and wishes do seem to vanish when we're in our hell. but when we come out of it and are thinking clearer, we come up with some ideas and solutions and can feel hope again. So, seriously what's left? Much is left, you just can't always see it or find it. But try to keep your mind and heart open so an answer might come to you. (god i sound so cheezy sorry but i do believe that)
