I did have collaboration between my Pdoc, my xT, and my PCP, but I chose to let them exchange information, and I did appreciate it. I haven't been in therapy long enough with my new T to even think about it, but I tell him what meds. I am on, and my health issues. I trust them, so if they needed to collaborate, it wouldn't be an issue for me.

However, I think that not having a choice feels intrusive.

Maybe you can decide for yourself, if she had asked you what you thought about signing a consent form and had explained the reason why, do you think you would have done it? Do you prefer that your T doesn't talk to your Pdoc? Can you take the intrusiveness of not having a choice out of the decision process whether you would be okay with this or not? Then, go with YOUR choice?

Just a thought. Let us know how it goes
