Great news! My system is back up! (for now) It is weird what happened. My system took a crash of some kind. I got a DOS message stating my battery was dead....all plugs were in place so it is not that it was unplugged and the power drained. I had an error message stating something to do with a "kernel" file, and when my computer was back up, it was reset to the date of july 2009.

I still have the new battery ordered and in shipping in case this occurs again but I am suspicious of a bug perhaps and the security system went to work on it. I did a security check after the system was back up and everything appeared "clean."

Anyways...I am happy to be back.
