I was in middle school when it happened. I remember not having a clue what the twin towers were. Then they started telling us that planes crashed into them. Believe me this was something my mind could not even picture. To me evil like this was hard to picture. I live in Pennslyvania, and it didn't really hit me all of what was going on until the plane crashed in sumerset county. I live about an hour away. My moms boss heard the plane crash, he does not live far away at all.

I didn't think it would bother me so much as it actually does. I can't stand the thought of seeing any of the movies that seem to be all coming out now. I was in D.C not that long ago and in one of the musems they have peices of scrap metal that use to be part of the buildings. Seeing that was like re opening a wound i didn't really know i had.

At the same time though, its a day to celebrate. September 11 is my friends birthday. So for her we do all that we can to keep the grim reminder of the day away. After all who wants to think of something so horrible on ones birthsday
