5. distinguished or different from what is ordinary or usual: a special occasion; to fix something special.
6. extraordinary; exceptional, as in amount or degree; especial: special importance.
7. being such in an exceptional degree; particularly valued: a special friend.

I recently used that term in some of my posting, and have used it occassionally in the past.

To me it's almost a combination of all of the above. So many are special here...unique by having special qualities of compassion, caring, giving of information and time, insightful, intuitive, etc.

PC is full of "special"...including you, bear.
