When I was a kid, my brothers and I always had to get up before a certain time (9:00) and instantly strip our bed and change it with new sheets. It was mostly a chore day. Some of that "boring," drag-the-feet feeling has come into adulthood with me so instead of being glad the workweek is over and I have a day to do what I want with, I look around guiltily at what chores need to be done and try to arrange things so I can "get out of" some of them
I've got beautiful weather though today, supposed to go to mid-80's and I'm looking for adventure instead! You got any carryover feelings about specific days that get in the way of how you feel and act now? How much of your life is leftover routine -- instead of school, there's work, etc.? Any ideas how to change a day, not groan when the alarm goes off on Monday mornings?
