The medical hospital I was in 8 years ago for my anorexia because I needed IV nutrition, my PCP provided me with a psychologist that saw me every day & also a pdoc. Neither my own psychologist not pdoc had priviledges in that hospital.

The last time I had anorexia problems back in 1995-1997 when it was bad, the PCP I had then also put me into the medical side of the hospital & then they had me go to the mental health group for support with the anorexia while on the IV nutrition.

But honestly, it's not ok to get to that bad place....much better to take care of it while physically stable.
