I worked only weekends when in college. Friday night, Saturday night, and all day Sunday. It's a pain. You're working when everyone else is off, but you do what you've got to do. It's money and it's keeping you busy. Show you're dependable and trustworthy and let them know that when something more preferrable opens up you'd be interested. I wouldn't think it would be too long before you have something more to your liking.
