Without knowing him, I would say that he may be dealing with some major insecurities of his own. He needs to accept that you have moved on and don't want him in your life. That's okay and a really healthy decision on your part. I hope that he reaches a place in his life where he accepts that what he did was not okay and can apologize to you while truly meaning it. Your health is the most important thing right now, and although it's unfortunate that he doesn't realize that, it is crucial that you keep your energy focused on getting better.
