Sounds like the nurse spoke before she had all the results in. Silly nurse!

All mine were precancerous as well. The thing about colon cancer is that it is a very slow moving cancer. I was told that I need another colonoscopy in 5 years because of the precancerous polyps. That's how slowly this kind of cancer moves.

This is not something that is unusual hon. All it means is that the polyps you have are the kind that can turn cancerous....doesn't mean that they will. The great thing is that you went through with the test and removal. Knowledge is power and now you have the power to keep it in check from here on out.

I was a bit nerve-wracked when I first heard too. It's a natural response to have. As I let it sink in and talked with the dr and did some research, I'm much more comfy with the idea of it all and will do what the dr suggests I do. I don't give it any thought anymore.....hang in there my friend....you will be fine!
