(((aziza))),

What you are discribing is one of the symptoms of PTSD. You have been diagnosed with that disorder according to your about me. I have experienced these symptoms myself and I know, it is so unsettling too.

I understand you are on a medication to help you sleep right? Well, if you "are' taking a sedative, what you are taking is a "depressant" to help you calm down and rest. But, you are not taking anything during the day for "anxiety", so you do have to understand that when you take any seditive , it gets to a point where it begins to leave your system and your system can struggle to get back into a balance again on it's own, and it can leave you vulnerable to experiencing anxiety.

I had the same concerns as you have and what I am discribing was explained to me "by professionals". I did learn what I pointed out to you above and I also learned that some "antianxiety" drugs actually slow down the metabolism as well. So when they leave the system the body can struggle to regain a "normal metabilism" again.

PTSD, is an anxiety "disorder" and it doesn't just go away on it's own. It is important that you find a good therapist to help you understand it and begin to work through it.
These feelings of some kind of "impending doom" lurking somewhere, are part of PTSD. Once you take time to understand it better, you will understand these troubling things that you are experiencing and learn how to handle them better verses having it frighten you like this.

Thanks for this!
