ah, learned helplessness.
What bothers me about cathegorizing like this is lack of acknowledgment "maybe to some people their drugs are screwing up with them". (as much as Anatomy of Epidemics or Generation RX may have their own bias... it should be considered). Seriously, if you tried many conventional treatments and there's no progress... isn't that time to look for the answers
outside of it? It kinda saddens me that people get literally
screwed up by this thinking. Certainly doesn't make good case for psychiatry to say "all of these things did not work for me! Psychiatry is great!".
