Doing sand play in t always brought out little artemis - I would catch myself like skipping between the sand tray and the shelves where the miniatures were and back, and I could almost feel my old ponytails bobbing up and down. i had to change that to past tense since she's not HERE anymore. Bah.

In fact I found the sand play so helpful in figuring things out that I'm putting together my own set - a plastic box w/ a lid so I can close up the sand and keep it clean, and I'm slowly gathering a collection of little miniature everythings to use with it. I got to the point where I was analyzing my own sand trays from memory between sessions w/out needing t's input. I love sand play it is so tremendously cool and recommend it highly!
