Water might help, but its no replacement for food!
Keep yourself occupied, do something, i dont know...go to a gym, join a group of some sort, practice a sport keeping yourself occupied will get your mind off food at least for a while.
After some time you start kicking off the habit to stop eating when your not hungry.
I work during the day but in weekends when im at home most of the time i automatically head for the fridge or cupboard! just to pass time by! its not good! not only am i lazying around but eating unhealtily!
So instead now i go to a gym, or my fave is going to play a game of football with my friends! its good exercise and keeps my mind off the food!
