I think the problem is that some parents smother kids and keep them safe but the kids end up unable to even function by the time they become "adults."
And then you have the parents that don't do crap and expect kids to learn on the streets. But that almost always leads to kids getting into bad situations. And it's always up to the kids to bail themselves out even though they don't know what the heck is going on.

Anyway I'm over it now. If I do have kids I know what to do and what not to do - kinda sorta...
