Just thought I'd update everyone on my job situation. My nightmare at GE is officially over! The company that I interviewed with first about two weeks ago (Ciphergen Biosystems), called me last Friday and extended me an offer. I waited until today to say anything because they were sending me an offer letter in the mail, and you never know what might happen...But I have it in my hot little hands right now! I get to go into work tomorrow and give my two weeks notice. You guys have no idea how long I've waited for this day. I was going to write a letter to GE about the supervisor who treated me so badly for the last two years, but why? It's just sour grapes, I'll never have to see him again, and he's going to have to live with the rotten way he treats people. He has much higher management than me to answer to...

If I'm coming off really manic here, it's because I am. I'm beside myself with excitement! I wanted to thank everyone for listening to my pathetic whining about my job and my boss. Your support was amazing, as usual. Now you can listen to me whine about my new job...not!

Now I know I'm a workaholic, getting this excited about a job...jeez!
