My 18 year old daughter got engaged tonight. She got the ring... It's pretty. I hope they wait a while before marrying, but they're pretty sturdy at this point (one year in). No boy could love my girl more. I saw him last night at the ER with her and he's her rock...she's his love. It was precious.

She's been dealing with horrible pain from herniated discs and she's been barely tolerable (understandably of course) and to show his devotion, he proposed in the midst. He's a good boy.

I'm happy, but crying... That's my baby girl...
