My physical health is fine, it's just my horse who isn't. He's still hobbling around, barely. He almost can't move. It's horrible when it goes on for days on end. He doesn't cope well without company and although he can see the other horses, he want's to be with them. He's made himself sick enough that he's needed the vet in the past just because he's been separated from the herd. Right now if I give him pain relief, he feels better, frets even more about being alone, and hurts more the next day. I don't give him any and he almost can't take a single step, and I worry he can barely take the few steps to get to his water.
Can you bring in one other horse to keep him company? I have a super sweet, bottom of the pecking order mare that I bring in to keep sick/lame horses company.
Thanks for this!
