So all in all, I have received a lot of OB-GYN care and can say with confidence that men and women are equally good care providers. CNMs are better not because of their gender but because they practice a different model of care. For instance, they spend more time with you. That is an objective difference.
Of course, men and women can be equally good care providers. But personal choice is just that: personal. And many factors beyond the "objective" come into play and are valid.
