I was on topamax for a while. it's one of the meds that helped in causing me to lose 70 pounds in 3 months and become so dehydrated (because I'd be sick any time I ate or drank anything) that I had to have IV fluids for an entire week, plus vitamins and stuff to get my body back to some normalcy. Not a drug I'd ever take again.

Had a pdoc after that refer to it as Dope-amax
