mine is in Jan/February, like a clock, a fullblown up and down episode that last for 4-6 weeks. Always need extra meds during that episode

Take care you all.

I've been treated for chronic depression for almost 30 years now and taken almost every med out there. My situation is that when a med plus supplements plus exercise work, suddenly they just stop working for no reason. My cycles last maybe 2-4 months. Four good months are almost heavenly -- it is the closest to being "normal" I ever am. But often, it will be two normal months followed by four months of living hell. And my swings are unpredictable, it used to be always fall/winter were bad, now I never know. Summer can be bad, then winter ok ... fall ok one year, horrible the next. I am a real stumper to all the professionals. Which honestly, to me, means that if I didn't still have one child left at home to raise, I would consider moving away and that way if I ever wanted to drink it would at least be away from my family. (and I'm an alcoholic, so drinking would eventually be death to me.)
