He discusses 5 brain types of overeaters and what you need to fix before you can fix the overeating. I'm in the process of figuring out which one or combination I am. He pointed out facts such as if your Serotonin or Vitamin D levels are low then you will be hungry ALL THE TIME. Also, when you get a sugar rush your testosterone levels whether your male or female can drop twentyfive percent which will lead to depression, loss of motivation/energy and overeating.
Facts like that really opened my eyes to see that the binging is not due solely to willpower like I thought. It gave me hope and compassion for myself and I hope it will do the same for you. We feel bad enough when we binge...or at least I do..LOL. It's about time somebody discovered the science behind why we do what we do! This neuroscientist seems to have that science. I'll try to keep you posted Merry Christmas!!!

This all sounds very interesting but I have two questions: 1) when I take seratonon increasing antidepressants like prozac and others, I gain weight and 2) how much vitamin D do you need, I wonder? Is 1000 units enough or do you need 10000?
Does he recommend antidepressants or doing it all through food? Because honestly my depression prevents me from alot of grocery shopping, cooking and everything that goes into eating a much different diet.
