Our rules are listed in the Community Guidelines, and nowhere in those guidelines does it state that double postings are not allowed.

Common sense dictates you wouldn't want to post the same exact post in a half dozen forums, and we wouldn't allow that (sorry, we don't have a specific rule for that, like I said it's just common sense).

Occasionally posting one thing in 2 different forums is allowed, but instead of just posting the same thing in 2 forums, I'd choose the forum I want to hold the primary conversation in. Then I would just provide a link to that post in the second forum where I thought people might have something to add, similar to:
