That used to happen to me all the time. Folks coming up to me talking to me like they know me and I have no idea who they are. Both male and female would talk to me. I would just go along with it.

Years ago, when I was more or less closer to "normal" than I am today, it seems folks tend not to forget me after they met me. I was asking directions at this office and one of the guys I was asking said my first name. I did a double take and it turned out he was my boss from a job 20 years ago. He was all smiling and saying "how could he ever forget me".

I also think I have one of those faces that resembles a lot of folks and folks tend to think they know me. So it can be various reasons . Maybe I spoke to them at a store or restaurant and they remembered me. I would just smile and chat back. shrugs shoulders
