When I was inpatient, the staff would do this for those who were too triggered by numbers. The patient would step on the scale backwards so they couldn't see the numbers and the staff would notate the information in the patient file without comment ... Just a suggestion and I hope it helps alleviate some of the distress you're feeling over this ...

Thanks Pfrog, The issue isn't me knowing my weight ( I am on my scale at least 10-20 times a day) it's that I don't want them or anyone else to know what I weigh.
