I have Lexapro 10 mg for panic attacks that work well for me. Its not the immediate quick fix type drug, it works in your system as a prophylactic to anxiety. I had panic attacks which lasted sometimes 3 hours & have been to the ER many times. Just .05 to 1 mg Xanax would calm these severe symptoms, it's fast acting, usually 10-15 minutes I was OK. No panic for me since adding the Lexapro. Good LucK!
