I accidentally overdosed on Ativan once and ended up in the ER, in restraints even. I was admitted to psychiatry, but, with the help of my podc, was able to get the certificates cancelled. I hate that two certificates are enough to keep someone for one month though. The unit podc originally wanted to keep me that long.
