I used to be very religious, and worried about going to Hell. I got really depressed over it. I don't think God will send you to Hell for sinning, if God is real; Christianity, at least, says we are all sinners. Jesus drank wine, so I hardly think you'd get in trouble for a few drinks.

I can't imagine a loving God who would send you to Hell because you picked the wrong religion, especially if it's one you were raised on since childbirth. You believed your parents because when you were little, you depended upon them and thought they could do anything, so they must be right in what they told you. Or, you heard someone talk about their beliefs and it comforted you and you converted to their religion. There's nothing that tells which one, if any, is right. I think what matters is trying to be a good, kind person, as opposed to a perfect one.
