I have had this feeling as I've gotten older too. I recently cut most caffeine from my diet (for a different reason) and that seemed to help. I also cut back on salt the week before my period and that helps as well. There are some breast massage techniques (google it) online that have also helped me with PMS symptoms. I've been using them to hopefully control cyst issues, but found they also help with the PMS stuff.
