I think alot of people do that to "people please." They don't want to make the other person mad. They want to keep that person as a friend so they don't make waves, or risk upsetting them by disagreeing with them for fear of starting a fight. They're desperate for friends, so they just go along with whatever the person says. It's kind of pitiful, but I think that's why alot of people do this.

Others may do it out of a shear boredom type thing -- kind of like "yeah, ok" kind of thing. They don't want the conversation to go any farther so they just agree hoping the conversation will die out.

That's just been what I've noticed anyway. I don't like it when people do it either. if you haven't got an opinion either way, why say anything? Ya know what I mean? LOL Hugs, Lee
