Went and saw a new p-doc today. He was really nice and helpful, but turns out by lookin at his credentials, he's just a m-doc that works in the behavioral medicine dept. but he did consult with his p-doc supervisor that also came and talked with me.

We decided to try out Naltrexone just to see if it can help me make the complete trasition from irresponsible college student drinking to responsible working adult drinking. I've wrangled the outright alcohol abuse problem by my own will. Just dont feel Im where I should be yet on the drinking responsibly end of things, as shown by the events on Thanksgiving that got me into this mess.

Apprehensive about getting back on any kind of rx drug, but he assured me it wont make me a zombie or anything like the depakote and risperdal.

Here goes nothing. gonna pick up my rx tomorrow and give it a try
