I have been having a hard time with it since Friday. I think I was actually experiencing real grief at some points, first being dumbfounded and numb and then crying and feeling angry and very overcome with pain and sadness. I can't imagine that anyone would want to do anything to a child, and yes I've been through psychosis and the whole nine yards but I would never harm a living creature. I just couldn't fathom ever doing anything like that and I can't imagine anyone that would. So hard to believe and so tragic. I am young and without a child yet but I love children and I have a young nephew so I can just only imagine what pain the parents are going through. I couldn't handle it. As President Obama said in his speech, from the moment a child starts walking, their parents are letting them go. So sad these parents let their kids go to school that day, hopeful, in what they thought was an extremely safe place with security in a nice town. It's a little anxiety provoking that shootings are striking so many different types of people all over the country in the last few years. I can only pray for peace. I hope you all are getting through the grief of the Sandy Hook shooting OK.
