I think it is possible to be depressed in the morning and hypo at night. I had an episode yesterday where in the morning I was super depressed like waning to die depression and then after about 3 o clock pm I went hypo bouncing around so I baked all night. So yes it's possible. I'm a rapid cycler though. But most the time my episodes last for days. But I agree I wonder if people mistake normal sadness for depression or happiness with being hypo. It's easy to do if you over analyze yourself
