The maximum dosage for Lexapro is 20 mg so you are on double the maximum dosage. Lexapro is an antidepressant of which can cause mania in people who are prone to mania. If an antidepressant is used in treatment then it must be offset with a mood stabilizer or an antipsychotic to prevent mania. I would suggest you talk to your pdoc about either decreasing your Lexapro or increasing your Risperdal or Lamictal because the status quo isn't working for you. And if your current pdoc doesn't address your symptoms/concerns then I suggest you find a new pdoc who will.
