I know the exact feeling you're going through, I couldn't continue into the 3rd year of my course because of one failed class, I should be finished my 1st semester of my 3rd year right now but instead am only going to be starting the class again in January.
It felt like the end of the world to me at first but it's not, I managed to get a part time job to keep myself busy and I've been looking at material for my 3rd year online to try and get a head start for next year.
At the end of the day you can still get your qualification, and a job you like, and that's what matters, it'll just take a little longer
